Deal with wild elephants

Despite repeated requests, the forest department has been failing to deal with the situation. This has forced the local residents to stag dharna at Paneri demanding immediate action.

The angry villagers have threatened to go to any extent if forest department fails to address the grievances.

Assam Wildlife Bord member Mubina Akhtar requested the PCCF(W) for taking immediate action to track the loners.
