FIR against ACA officials

Amid an escalating controversy over the fund misappropriation in Assam Cricket Association, a senior official of the state’s cricket body has lodged a complaint against its president Bikash Baruah and Pradip Burahgohain.
The organization’s vice president Tapan Sarma has moved Phatashil police station against the duo accusing them of hiding a few crucial files.
Notably, the allegations of a huge financial scam has forced a local court in Guwahati to stall the recent ACA annual session and election of a new body.
