After a brief silence poaching riddles Kaziranga again where yet another rhino was killed on Monday.

The poachers struck at the Kothalchang area of Burhapahar range of the world heritage site in the wee hours where the poachers managed to take away the horn of a rhino.

On hearing the firing sound, forest guards sprung into action with an encounter. But the poachers fled away from the spot. This year alone, the poachers have killed 12 rhinos for horn.
