Congress and BJP have started heat and dust for the assembly polls early next year.

BJP state unit president Siddharth Bhattacharya predicted less than 10 seat for Congress in the assembly polls. Talking to reporters in the sidelines of a Black day function in Guwahati on Friday, he said that the party has leaders but no workers.

MP Bijoya Chakrabarty criticized Tarun Gogoi for his recent move on NRC saying that the Chief Minister has lost mental balance because of simmering dissidence.

“He is interested to safeguard the interest of the Bangladeshi immigrants,” said Chakrabarty.
