Vehicles under scanner

In a surprise step, district transport official (DTO) and police administration jointly carried out checking operation against private vehicles flying through heart of Kokrajhar town and fined many vehicles due to non available of proper documents. 

Checking officials checked all vehicles including passenger career tempo, truck and traveller buses one by one and passed the roads in the district. The officials checked at Narabari along the JD Road in Kokrajhar town one after another documents like DL, fitness certificate, pollution and verified valid documents of the vehicles. 

Dhajendra Basumatary, Enforcement Inspector, DTO Kokrajhar said that surprised checking was carried out to check valid documents of the vehicle and it's staffs.He said that many vehicles were fined for non availability of valid documents, besides case registered against vehicles which have no any documents in the running.
