Governor PB Acharjya arrived today in Kokrajhar, heart town of BTAD administration to take stock and review of implementation scheme sponsored from State and Centre govts.
Acharjya landed in special helicopter at Patharghat Army camp heliped in Kokrajhar by 10.30 am and held meetings with BTAD deputy chief Kampa Borgoyari, executive member and elected members of the council at BTC Assembly House, Bodofa Nwgwr.
Acharjya was accompanied by his wife was felicitated with traditional Aronai in the BTC Assembly House.
He has discussed on various scheme undertaken by council administration and reviewed the implementation schemes in the region.
Acharjya is likely to hold meeting with BTAD IGP, Police administration, besides visiting Bathow Thansali in Kokrajhar.
