No respite for Rumi Nath

There seems to be no respite for Rumi Nath as the Gauhati High Court has rejected the Borkhola MLA’s bail plea on Tuesday.

After examining the police case diary on Tuesday a division bench of the high court rejected her petition. The government told that court that bail, if granted, would hamper the investigation which has reached its crucial stage.

The Borkhola MLA was arrested on April 14 wee hours alleging her nexus with notorious car lifter Anil Chauhan. The lower court on Monday rejected her bail in yet another case.
