Stray incidents mar bandh

Marked by a string of stray incidents the AGP-sponsored 10 hour statewide Assam bandh ends in the afternoon. The bandh which evoked partial response in protest against the Indo-Bangla land swap ended in the afternoon. 

It had hardly any impact on Guwahati city and Barak valley where the normal life was running as usual. But some stray incidents marred the bandh in many parts of the state. 

A section of AGP activists enforced the bandh by burning tyres on the road. Some others attacked some school buses.
