AGP bandh cripples normal life

Normal life comes to a grinding halt from early in the morning following AGP’s 10 hour statewide bandh in protest against the Indo-Bangla land swap deal a day after the Rajya Sabha cleared the bill.

Vehicles, mostly, are off from the roads. Shops and markets, schools and colleges, offices and banks are not opening under the impact of the bandh.

The bandh is partial in Guwahati along with the Barak valley districts. ASTC buses are plying in Guwahati apart from a few other private buses.
