The Assam Association Chennai is organizing this year's Rongali Bihu festival in Chennai on April 18 at Central Leather Research Institute campus, Adyar. All Assamese community people staying in Chennai will be together to showcase the Assamese tradition on this day. During this occasion, Assam Association will showcase various Assamese traditional cultural program including Husori, Jeng Bihu, Khol Badon, Jhumur and many other folk singing & dance. Traditional assamese instrument like Dhol, Pepa, Taal etc will be playing during this cultural evening. Souvenir of the association, “Cauvery” also will be released on the same evening.
The Assam Association Chennnai, looking forward the support and presence of all assamese & non-assamese people staying in chennai to make this event successful.
