Hot contest in Salakati

As two-day left to the BTC polls on April 8, campaigning has gained more momentum in the four districts of BTAD from various party and organization for their candidatures and claimed their winning in the elections including Salakati constituency is getting tough contest among hot candidates of BPF,BJP,PCDR.

In Salakati constituency of Kokrajhar district,BJP candidate Malati Rani Narzary has held her campaigned at Butiapara,Diajiri,Kalipukri village where common publics from various communities participated and extended support to her.

Narzary has alleged that BPF who has been ruled the council since decade long in the council has failed while fulfilling promises and aspirations of the peoples wanting in the region. She said that Salakati constituency specially has not met out any welfare of the society due to the insincerity of the ruling BPF party as still today peoples of the constituency are facing hardships.

She said that her party BJP was working all round development in the country since its government formed in the centre and this time BJP has been contesting in all 40 seats of the council and their winning in large number of seat is cent percent  sure.

She said that her party is stepping out to meet social development and integration so that peoples can hold good governance and healthy situation among various communities.

She has said that irrespective of caste and creed voters are supporting her to defeat BPF candidate Derhasat Basumatary, who is representing the seat since decade as he had not stepped to develop constituency.She has claimed that this time peoples of the Salakati will vote to her and constituency will able to see new leader after election as her winning is cent percent sure.

Meanwhile,BPF candidate Derhasat Basumatary has also held his campaigned at various villages in the seat and claimed that his winning is clear as he is getting majority supports.  

PCDR,an united organization of various communities has contested the election with Hitesh Kumar Mushahary as candidate.

As many as 13 fishermen were arrested by Bhutan Royal Army on Tuesday inside deep jungle of Sarpang district of Bhutan while going illegally into the neighboring country.
