Delhi: AASU delegations meeting with CEC Harishankar Brahma

The updated NRC would help the Election Commission prepare a flawless electoral roll. This is the best way to honour the Assam Accord.

This was more or less of what HS Brahma told the AASU leaders when they met the Chief Election Commissioner in New Delhi on Wednesday.

Led by AASU adviser Dr Samujjal Bhattacharya, the delegation urged the CEC to prepare the future electoral rolls on the basis of the updated NRC.
