AHRC notice on swine flu

The Assam Human Rights Commission (AHRC) has asked for a report from the Assam Government on the H1N1 outbreak in the state where one person  died lat week.

A bench of the Commission comprising Dr Justice AH Saikia and T Phookan asked Chief Secretary JS Khosla to submit a detailed report within two weeks clearing the government’s position on the measures to deal with the situation.

At least 10 H1N1 patients have been undergoing treatment till date. Of them, the condition of two is serious.
