The Assam government finds it quite difficult to implement a number of vital schemes after the Centre cut down its shares.
In his budget speech on the floor of the House on Tuesday, Chief minister Tarun Gogoi rued reduction of central share in RKVY, NHM, RMSA and ICDS.
“If it so happens, we wont be able to smoothly implement these schemes,” he said adding that the states has no such huge resource of its own for it.
