Alert was sounded in Assam over the dreaded swine flu after a student of the Fakhruddin Ahmed Barpeta Medical College was detected with the H1N1 virus today. The student is currently undergoing treatment at a private nursing home in Guwahati and will be shifted to the Guwahati Medical college Hospital tomorrow. This is the first case detected so far in Assam but there could be more, revealed a health department source.
