The All India United Democratic Front has put a stop to all speculations on a pre poll alliance with the ruling Congress party and made it clear that it will continue to go alone. In a statement, the AIUDF supremo Badruddin Ajmal said his party will continue to follow its “Ekla Chalo” policy. He further alleged that the speculations on the AIUDF entering into an alliance with the Congress are intended to sow confusion among party workers as state polls are drawing near.
The AIUDF leader added that his party has maintained equidistance from both the Congress and the BJP. However, there is every possibility that AIUDF would extend its support if there emerges a third front.
