The state government has constituted a one man inquiry committee headed by Additional Chief Secretary P.P. Verma, to inquire into the incident of alleged assault on the MLA of Mariani Rupjyoti Kurmi, by Police and CRPF Personnel on May 24, 2013 at Mariani.
The committee will inquire into the details of the circumstances leading to the incident and lapses on the part of any authority.
