Assam Government Railway Police have installed a new Helpline Number, “1512” to facilitate the Railway Passengers and other people to approach the Assam Government Railway Police for issues pertaining to safety, security and crime in Railways.

Verma, to inquire into the incident of alleged assault on the MLA of Mariani Rupjyoti Kurmi, by Police and CRPF Personnel on May 24, 2013 at Mariani.
