Accolade for Rabiram Brahma

The BTC administration confered Jwhwlao Nileswar Brahma award to renowned sculptor and artiste Rabiram Brahma hailed from Udalguri district on 13th Bodoland Day celebration on Tuesday in Kokrajhar. 

The award carries a momento, citation, aronai and cash rupees 2 lakh.

Noted educationist and retired professor Guns war Basumatary from Gossaigaon  was also conferred Promod Chandra Brahma literary award.

The award comprises of a citation, momento, aronai and cash rupees 2 lakh. 

The council also felicitated the personalities who have achieved good performances on various fields like sports, sahitya academy awardees on the occasion.
