Kiren flags off car rally in Tinsukia

North eastern region is well prepared to welcome tourists from the country and abroad in season and out of season. This is what the clear message to the world when Union minister of state for home Kiren Rijiju flagged off a car rally in Tinsukia on Tuesday.

Another message that the region sends on Tuesday in the Assam Pushpak Travel agency and the Assam Motors Sports Club sponsored car rally is its capability of hosting all sports event of the international standard. 

In his address, the Union minister who hails from Arunachal Pradesh said that car rally is a new concept in the north east and that it is one of the challenging tasks for the entire region. Altogether 65 cars participated in the rally.

RAHA : Jongal Balahu Garh fish farm in Raha has become the first in state to start pearl farming.
