Preparation afoot for betrayal rally

Saturday is nearing. Assam Pradesh Congress is gearing up to hold the betrayal protest rally in Guwahati against the NDA government at the Centre.

The rally is scheduled at the playground of College of Veterinary Science at Khanapara. Chief minister Tarun Gogoi along with the senior party leaders vowed to make it a success when they attended a meeting at Koinadhara on Tuesday night.

Sources told Assam Times that the party will expose the Modi government on the Indo-Bangla land swap deal, the dilution of the land acquisition act to allegedly favour the corporate and construction of big dams.
