Himachal thrash Assam in Ranji clash

Himachal Pradesh thrashed Assam riding piggyback on pacer Rishi Dhawan wonderful show in the Ranji Trophy cricket match on the fourth and final day on Wednesday.

The pacer grabbed five wickets to help Himachal Pradesh crush Assam by 133 runs. Dhawan (5/53) ran through the Assam batting line-up as the home team were skittled out for just 198 in 79.5 overs after being forced to follow on at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium.

Tarjinder Singh fought a lone battle with a 212-ball 90 which he made with the help of 13 boundaries for Assam.
Assam had scored 218 all out in their first innings in reply to 549 for four declared by HP.
