Healing visit in the time of crisis

A delegation of 26 organisations visited the refugee camps in Kokrajhar and Chirang districts on Tuesday. Comprising members from AASU, ABSU, AASAA, they shared the grief of the camp inmates.

Besides New Bashbari, the delegation visited Deosri and Molandubi relief camp in Chirang district. ABSU president Promod Boro said that the inmates are facing hardships due to lack of proper steps taken from government.

AASAA president Raphael Kujur demanded stern actions against militants and sufficient relief materials to the camps. AASU adviser Dr Sammujal Bhattacharjya said that the peoples from all sections of communities should restore peace and harmony for bringing of normalcy.
