Amid traditional fanfare the Christians across the state are celebrating X-Mas along with other parts of the globe on Thursday. The churches are teeming with the visitors to participate in the prayers seeking divine help to restore love, peace and good will among all people irrespective of caste, creed, community. Same enthusiasm gripped the church premises in the state from Wednesday when people of all ages and all walks of live participated in the midnight carols to mark the birth of the Jesus. The dense fog and darkness of the night failed to grip on Wednesday in the face of the Christmas trees that dazzled every households of the Christians. A section of the churches are specially praying for the carnage and flood victims.
