Grenade explosion in Chirang

NDFB-S militants exploded a powerful grenade in Chirang hours after two militants were killed at an encounter on Sunday. The explosion took place at Chapaguri in the evening and there is no report of any casualty.

Notably, security forces killed 2 NDFB-S militants at an encounter during the rescue operation of a businessman along the Kokrajhar-Chirang inter district border on Sunday.

As many as 13 fishermen were arrested by Bhutan Royal Army on Tuesday inside deep jungle of Sarpang district of Bhutan while going illegally into the neighboring country.
