More trouble awaits BTAD!

NIA’s revelation of JMB’s target on the Bodo people touches off a seismic wave of anger and acrimony apart from a fear of impending group clash in BTAD areas. Various political and non political organizations have expressed grave concern over the revelations fearing that the group clash rerun.

Talking to Assam Times, ABSU president called it an unfortunate revelation. He feared the it could utter chaos between Bodos and the non Bodos. BPPF president Rabiram Narzary and ABWWF president Miting Basumatary have demanded strong measures against jehadi elements and steps to ensure tight security for the common people.

The All BTAD Minority Students’ Union (ABMSU) has also slammed National Investigation Agency (NIA) for the revelation that could land BTAD in more trouble.

ABMSU General Secretary Lafikul Islam Ahmed told Assam Times that the NIA revelation is nothing but a conspiracy to create tension in the BTAD areas. He said that NIA should disclose names of the fifty Bodo leaders.
