KLO militant surrenders in Kokrajhar
A hardcore KLO militant surrendered before Kokrajhar police on Monday. Identified as Ribu Ram Rai alias Mathura surrendered at the Kokrajhar police station along with his wife Nibedita in the evening. The couple deposited a hand grenade before the police.
Son of Somen Chandra Rai of Jadumani village under Fakiragram police station, Ribu joined the outfit in 2010 and underwent arms training in Nagaland. He was involved in a number of activities in Kokrajhar district.
