Golaghat fest from Mar 29

Come March 29, 2015. Golaghat General Field will turn into a mini north east. Courtesy Srimanta Sankardev Foundation. The organization is gearing up to hold the first ever Golaghat Festival to showcase the rich craft and culture of the region. 

The most vaunted festival will open with a folk dance. The week long festival includes almost every aspect of the state. Artisans, such as women entrepreneurs, woodworkers and weavers, demonstrate their traditional crafts in small shops with ethnic food will be the mail attraction of the festival.
