Dispur moves HC against ONGC, OIL

Dispur has moved the Gauhati High Court seeking a direction to ONGC and OIL to pay royalty to the state on crude oil on pre-discounted rate in the light of a Supreme Court order.

In its recent interim order, the Supreme Court directed ONGC to pay crude oil royalty to Gujarat on pre-discounted crude price beginning February 1, 2014.
