Thai team talks business with FINER

 There is no dearth of scope for Thailand to invest in the north eastern region. Mention may be made of tourism, food processing, organic farming, water management, education, waterways and fashion industry.

This was more or less of what dominated a crucial meet of trade and commerce by FINER with a Thailand delegation in Guwahati on Wednesday.

Led by former ambassador of Thailand P. Pibulsonggram who is also the representative of ASEAN Connectivity Coordinating Committee of Thailand, the delegation held an interaction session with the FINER officials  where both sides outlined the opportunities and potential of trade& commerce in the North East.

Both sides pledged measures to to promote and enhance future business relationships between both the Countries and share the vision and policies of the governments.

FINER extended invite to the Thai delegation to take part in the ensuing Assam International Trade & Industrial Fair-which is scheduled in February next year in Jorhat.
