The Nagaland police have called the Ratanpur shoot out a heavy exchange of firing between two groups of Naga and Adivasi people along the inter state border where one person was killed and four others sustained serious injury.
Sources in Kohima told Assam Times that the incident took place when a section of people from Assam tried to sneak into the Nagaland territory on Thursday afternoon.
