Bodo artiste’s conference in Jan '15

A Reception Committee was formed for holding the 7^th annual conference of the All Bodo Artistes’ Association (ABAA) at Goybari in Chirang district with two-day colorful programmes on January 10-11 in 2015 next year. The Reception Committee was formed with Suniram Basumatary, former ABSU leader as the president and Rojen Narzary, a reputed film producer of Chirang as Secretary at a meeting held at JB School on Wednesday with Bikash Basumatary,president of the association in the chair and was attended by cine artistes, local intellectuals, producers, writers and actors.

Dipak Kumar Ramchairy,secretary of the association explained about the organizational strategy and programme to be chalk out for the promotion of cine industry and solution of problems of artiste. He said that the association has submitted memorandum to the Chief of BTC Hagrama Mohilary for taking up some initiatives for the development of cine industry, establishment of drama school, pension to legendary artistes, setting up of archives for preservation and solution of other problems of artistes, producers and singers etc.
