Wage earner injured in Kokrajhar firing

Despite tight security gun running refuses to die down in Kokrajhar district. Unidentified miscreant shot at yet another person in the district on Friday. The incident took place at Baldiabatan where miscreants shot at a daily wage earner in the afternoon.

Identified as Prahald Sarkar, the deceased hailed from Galakganj of Dhubri district who was engaged at a construction site in Baldiabatan.

A group of four miscreants started indiscriminate firing as he was standing on the road.  A seriously injury Sarkar was rushed to the Rup Nath Brahma Civil Hospital where two bullets were recovered from his legs. Police operation is going on to nab the miscreants involved in the incident.
