Football: Halangbazaar beat Sikla, sail to final

HANTIGIRI NARZARY, KOKRAJHAR: Halangbazaar Indian Star Youth Sports Club in Kokrajhar beat Bardwi Sikla Sports Club from Kachugaon by 4-3 goals in tie breaker shots to storm into the final of the Kanakeswar Narzary Memorial Football Trophy at Rup Nath Brahma ground at Ramfalbill in Kokrajhar. Fwilao Basumatary scored his lone goal in 50th minutes on behalf of For Halangbazaar while Lwitw Basumatary of Bardwi Sikla reduced the goal scored in 75th minutes in the second half and led the match draw 1-1. Later,organisers conducted the match tie-breaker where Halangbazaar beat Bardwi Sikla by 4-3 goals. Barhungka Athletic Club,Kokrajhar will take on Laimwn Sports Club,Aflagaon in the second semi final on Saturday. …………………………..
