A local court in New Delhi convicted five persons in the sensational Dhaula Kuan rape case fours years after incident took place where a Mizo girl who was on her way back to home from the call centre was abducted to be gang-raped in the capital. Additional Sessions Judge Virender Bhat convicted the five accused namely Shamshad alias Khutkan, Usman alias Kale, Shahid alias Chhota Billi, Iqbal alias Bada Billi and Kamruddin. The court will announce the quantum of punishment on Friday. The five men allegedly kidnapped the girl on November 24 in 2010 and took her to Mugholpuri to be gang-raped and left her at an isolated road.
