Seal Indo-Bnagla border by Mar 31;AASU to govt

The All Assam Students Union has served the March 31 ulimatum for the Government to seal the porous Indo-Bangla border. This was disclosed by AASU central leaders while they were staging the ten hour hunger strike at the Latashil Playground in the city on Tuesday along with other parts of Assam. They demanded an early preparation of the National Registrar of citizens saying they will further intensify the agitation if the government fails to listen to them. They said it's the govenment who wants these be rmain so. "We will not remain mute and also we will not allow these to continue," said AASU general secretary Tapan Kumar Gogoi and blamed the Government for the porous Indo-Bangla border saying it has been encouraging the infiltration from across the border.
