4 NDFB-S men held in Udalguri

Security forces claimed to have held 5 militants during a joint operation IN Udalguri district during that last 12 hours. These include 4 NDFB-S militant and a Raha National Liberation Army (RNLA) militant.

According to police, they arrested 4 NDFB-S men and the lone RNLA extremist from Murabari village in Harisinga police station during a joint operation on Monday.

A factory-made revolver, two rounds of AK-47 live ammunition, a khukri (knife), Rs 36,500 in cash, four mobile handsets, 9 SIM cards and four mobile memory cards were recovered from their possession.

The NDFB men have been identified as Ringsar Daimary, Babul Rabha, Bisan Daimary and Jisoya Khaklary. RNLA extremist was identified SPaneswar Rabha.

They were allegedly carrying out extortion in Kalaigaon, Harisinga and Khairabari areas of Udalguri as well as Goreswar areas.
