Rijiju contradicts chief minister

The Centre is not looking after Assam and J&K differently. This was what Union minister of state for home Kiren Rijiju told reporters in Lakhimpur on Thursday.

Hours after chief minister alleged that the Centre took up Assam and J&K flood differently, Rijiju who hails from Arunachal Pradesh said that Centre is helping the state get out of the blues.

He further said that the Assam government has experience of handling the situation from its past experience and that flood is new problem in J&K where the government has hardly any experience.
