BTC Chief Hagrama Mohilary has assured for appointing 2,125 teachers in elementary eduaction in four districts of BTAD that were selected by BTC elementary education advisery board in 2006-07,during a meeting held on Monday BTC Secretariat conference hall in Kokrajhar. Ajay Kumar Basumatary,president of BTAD LP and ME selected teachers association told that BTC chief Mohilary assured the teachers to appoint in various LP and ME schools in BTAD area against lying vacant sanction post which has approved by the finance(SIU) department.He said that the teachers were selected under advertisement published on December 2005 by BTC authority and it have been remained pending due to lack of finance(SIU) approved from government of Assam and non clearance of OBB teachers. Basumatary expressed his thankful to BTC authority and chief Hagrama Mohilary for his positive response and step on appointing taechers in lying avcant posts in various LP and ME schools in BTAD region,as the BTC authority got success in the case of honourable supreme court of India bearing case no.SLP(C ) 4340/2012 or CA 7430/2014 on August 4. The meeting was held in between association and BTC authority in the presence of executive member of education department,officials and legal experts on Monday. On the other hand,a release from the assocation stated that the court has suggested government of Assam to issue SIU finance approved and complete the appointment process within two moths as the BTC authority has already 2125 numbers of SIU finance approved posts as order no.TAD/BTC/604/2013/27 dated December 18,2013.
