Modi seeks Uriamghat reports

 Finally the Centre  steps in to defuse the Assam-Nagaland border tension.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday asked home ministry to submit a report on the entire situation a week after Naga miscreants killed at least 14 local residents of Uriamghat.

 But the Centre would only assist the state government to contain the violence.   The Centre has already rushed around 1,000 additional paramilitary personnel for deployment along the Assam-Nagaland border. //
