Tension seems to have mounted in Golaghat district along the Assam-Nagaland border where nine more bodies were found on Friday three days after the Naga miscreants attacked the local residents in Uriamghat.
Sources confirmed that all the local residents were killed in the recent indiscriminate firing and arson in eight villages.
Most of them were believed to have killed in arson when the miscreants torched at least 200 houses forcing over thousand people to leave their houses in Uriamghat area.
Two persons succumbed to bullet wounds in Chetiagaon village on Tuesday.
