Gogoi unfurls national flag in Guwahati

 Braving incessant rains people thronged in thousands at the Veterinary Playground in Khanapara on Friday morning to celebrate the Independence Day where chief minister Tarun Gogoi hoisted the national tricolor.

Amid tight security measures, Gogoi, his wife Dolly Gogoi along with many prominent persons arrived in the playground at 8-30 in the morning.
