Gogoi to accept Himanta's resignation

 Chief minister Tarun Gogoi is preparing to accept Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma’s resignation a day after the education and health minister quitted the cabinet.

Reliable sources told Assam Times that the chief minister has sent the copy of Dr Sarma’s resignation letter to AICC conveying his decision to accept it.

Dr Sarma put in his papers on Monday saying that he was not prepared to work under Tarun Gogoi as chief minister.
