Budget for industrialists: CM

Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi on Friday accused the Modi government of pleasing big industrialists and lowering the benefits of social schemes meant for the poor people.

Addressing a press conference in Dispur the chief minister sad that the budget brings smiles only to the industrialists clique and that’s why, these class of people are welcoming the budget saying that it is growth oriented.

Gogoi said, " the subsidies for the poor are being withdrawn gradually. The 'achhe din' has come for big corporates, but not for the common people.”
