Gogoi announces 2 new forces

Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi said on Saturday that the government has a plan to raise two separate forces to protect and preserve  wetland and hills areas.

Addressing a press conference in Dispur, the chief minister said that the authorities have identified 376 vulnerable areas in the hill top surrounding Guwahati where landslide could wreak havoc.

He said that these forces would be able to deal wih the growing encroachment in wetland and hills areas.
