The dissidance drama seems to have ended with its prominent leaders offering to quit.
Dr Himanta Biswar Sarma who has been leading the camp along with Gautom Roy, Siddique and Bidya Sing Ingleng met chief minister Tarun Gogoi where they offered to quit. Dr Sarma said that they were prepared to put in papers as soon as Gogoi wants.
Political observers called it a face saving tactic and that they are really prepared to support Gogoi.
Talking to reporters Dr Sarma said that they have accepted Gogoi as their leader.
