Rupasmita steals the march in HS Science

The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council on Friday declared the results of the HS science examinations conducted across the state in February.

Rupasmita Devi from Pragjyotish Junior College in Titabor steals the march this year in science stream examination this year to be followed by Kritarha Kashyap from Sankardev Academy in Nalbari.

The third position has gone to Sukanya Ghosh from the Salt Brook Academy in Dibrugarh.

Ashwini Burahgohain shares from the same school has shared the fourth position with Swarup Nath from Cotton College in Guwahati, Wasfia Majida from Salt Brook Academy in Dibrugarh and Arindom Koushik Bora from Ramanujan Junior College in Nagaon.

Ispita Gogoi from the Salt Brook Academy in Dibrugarh shared the fifth position with Bhaskarjyoti Das from the Cotton College.

Altogether 23, 420 candidates cleared the examination out of 27,969 candidates in the science stream. The percentage of successful candidates stands at 85.33%.
