CM reviews law and order

Chief minister Tarun Gogoi reviewed the state’s law and order at a high level meeting with Chief Secretary and DGP at Koinadhora in Guwahati on Wednesday.

Hours after his BTAD visit, Gogoi talked to chief secretary JS Khosla and DGP Khagen Sarma asking them to be prepared to face any eventuality in BTAD areas after May 16.

He further asked the top police officials to keep a close watch on the day to day happenings in the trouble torn BTAD areas where violence is likely to recur May 16.
