Minor explosion in Dhubri

A low intensify explosion seems to have created no less panic in Dhubri on Wednesday.
The explosion took place at Bauskata in Fakirganj area in front of a businessman. Identified as Abdul Jawar who received an extortion notice from unidentified miscreants 20 days back.

There is no report of any casualty. But panic gripped the local residents who confined to their houses for several hours.

The bomb was believed to have lobbed at Jawar’s residence which missed the target and exploded with a huge sound in front of the gate. Investigation is going on.
