Voters turn out 77%:EC

There has been sharp rise in the voters’ turn out in the Lok Sabha polls this time.

The initial report of the Election Commission suggested on Thursday evening that the overall turn out is 77 per cent which was 71 per cent in 2009. The turn out figure is expected to increase as the state polling authority has yet to ascertain the figure.
