Polling disrupted, resumed again

EVM malfunctioning disrupted polling in some booths in the second phase of polling in the Lok Sabha elections in Assam on Saturday.

But according to sources, the disruption was temporary.  The things resumed normalcy as soon as the authorities replaced the voting machines.

Voting was disrupted in Dima Hasao district, Karbi Anglong district and in parts of the Karimganj Lok sabha constituency.
